Course Description: Celebrate spoken word this summer by combining the elements of poetry and improvisational acting. Learn how to write and perform spoken word poetry. Practice courage, speak your truth, and be brave! Each day consists of improv games, mini-lessons on the tools of spoken word, and opportunities to share original work.

Instructor Bio: Evan Schnair is a poet and educator from San Francisco, and he has been teaching in the English department at Branson for five years. He writes and teaches about collaboration, community, creative risks and activism.
