Middle School Girls Lacrosse

Date: June 23 through June 26, 2025

Meets: Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to noon

Cost: $285 early-bird pricing; $310 after March 31

Coaches: Branson head girls coach Ashton Richards and Southern Marin Wolfpack coach and Branson JV head coach, Charlie Fager, along with current DI and DIII players

Course Description: Whether new to the game or looking to take your lacrosse skills to the next level, this camp is for you! Our summer girls lacrosse camp will focus on skills for a beginner as well as high-performance concepts to help motivated players transition to a higher-level of play. We will cover fundamentals of stick work, individual skills such as dodging and shooting, on- and off-ball basics, draw circle technique, as well as defensive concepts. 

Equipment to Bring: lacrosse stick, goggles, mouth guard and a water bottle. If a player is new to the game and does not have a stick or goggles, we can provide them.

Coach Bios:

Charlie Fager has been a Marin-based girls lacrosse coach for over 15 years, focusing on player development and education. He is the past U14 Head Coach and Girls Director at Novato Lacrosse, and in recent years was also the Head JV coach at Redwood High School. Currently he coaches high level U12 players at Southern Marin Lacrosse Club. In addition, he is now the Branson JV head coach. His passion is working with young athletes and guiding them to a rewarding lacrosse experience.

Ashton Richards has been a teacher and coach for over 40 years. He presently teaches history at Branson and assumed the Head Coach position for girls lacrosse in 2023. While a new arrival to girls lacrosse, he is not new to coaching having trained high school rowers for 40 years, including four summers with the United States Junior National Team.
