Course Description:
Do you love to play with color? Is your pen constantly moving in the margins of your notebook? Messy Art is about making big and experimenting with everything creativity has to offer. We will gather inspiration from the natural world around us and inside our own hearts. We will take up a lot of space and bring exciting ideas alive to the canvas. You don’t need to “know how to draw” to be an artist, to make a mess, to experiment with your creative vision. This workshop plays big and small on paper and canvas with a variety of media like ink, paint and collage. We will be working with abstract artist practices as well as drawing from life. While most of our time will be spent in the studio, we will take advantage of the natural world around us to adventure into nature.
